OTP Code Terms and Conditions for Online Transactions
Please read these terms and conditions in full to ensure you understand them before using the One-Time Passcode (OTP) service for online transactions with your debit or credit card. By using this service, you agree to the terms outlined below.
When making an online transaction that requires OTP verification, a code will be sent to the phone number or email address registered in the TruEnergy FCU system. You must enter this code on your device to complete the transaction. Registration for the OTP service is not required. If you are unable to enter the code or the authentication fails, the online merchant may reject the transaction. TruEnergy FCU is not responsible for any such rejections.
By using this service, you agree to provide any required data necessary to authorize the transaction. You are responsible for keeping your card number and any personal information confidential. If you share your passcode, you accept full responsibility for any resulting claims, losses, or consequences. The OTP service can only be used with merchants enrolled in EMV 3DS. The credit union is not liable for any losses that result from failure to follow these terms. Additionally, standard messaging and data rates may apply when using this service.
