Credit Union Youth Month holds great importance and significance for the members of TruEnergy Federal Credit Union. This special month aims to educate and empower young members about financial literacy and the importance of saving money from an early age.
By participating in various activities and programs organized during Youth Month, members have the opportunity to develop healthy financial habits that will benefit them throughout their lives. Additionally, this initiative helps foster a sense of community and belonging among the youth members, encouraging them to actively engage with their credit union and take control of their financial futures.

*APY = Annual Percentage Yield. Rates are accurate as of 04/01/2024. $5.00 minimum opening deposit. Rates subject to change without notice. All new youth members must be eligible for membership at TruEnergy FCU. If the prospective members are ineligible for membership, an account will not be opened. Contact us for eligibility requirements. Youth members are considered to be individuals 23 years of age or younger. Individuals under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian on the account. $25 will be deposited to accounts within 15 days of promotion end. A minimum of one transaction must be conducted on the youth account in the month of April to be eligible for the drawing. Drawing will be held on or before May 15, 2024. One pair of Apple Air Pods will be raffled off. One member will be chosen at random to receive prize. Offer valid between 4/1/2024 and 4/30/2024 and may expire or change at any time and without notice. See credit union website for details.
